How much notice do you need for a job that isn't an emergency?
A few days ahead is generally plenty for routine work, and mentioning that your dates are flexible tends to open up the widest choice of arrival times rather than leaving you with whatever's left.
What happens if a repair fails again a year down the track?
Ring the same number you called originally and treat it like any other booking, our Lifetime Labour Warranty means a genuine fault traced back to our own work gets corrected without a fresh invoice.
How do I actually pay once the job's done?
Card, cash or a payment plan all work, and since the figure was already agreed in writing before anyone started, paying on the day is really just confirming the price you signed off on earlier.
The property's rented out and I'm the landlord, not the tenant. Can I still get updates directly?
Of course, plenty of owners prefer to handle quotes and approvals themselves, and we're equally comfortable running everything through a property manager if that fits your arrangement better.

Our water bill jumped for no obvious reason. Could there be a hidden leak somewhere?
It's a genuine red flag worth chasing, a leak buried under a slab or inside a cavity wall can run for weeks unseen, and pinpointing it properly beats tearing into a wall on a hunch.
Does swapping a hot water system for an equivalent model need council sign-off?
Not usually, a like-for-like replacement is already covered under the plumbing code, though switching the type of system or shifting its position can bring extra requirements, and we'll mention that before quoting.
What's worth having sorted before the plumber turns up?
A clear path to whatever's misbehaving makes the biggest difference, and knowing roughly where your water meter sits helps too, though a plain description over the phone is enough to get started either way.
Nobody's home during business hours. Can outdoor or yard jobs still go ahead?
Most of the time, yes, plenty of external work only needs a clear path rather than supervision, and we'll ring ahead if the job unexpectedly needs someone to let us inside.
